Day 34 of Summer

Another packing-frenzy day!! We leave tomorrow for our Ashland/Lake trip, which is going to be so much fun! I will be taking lots of pictures, but won't have internet access for a week or so, so I'll update the blog when I get back.

Day 33 of Summer

Whew, lots of shopping and more getting ready for the trip today. We stopped in at Trader Joe's and my Mom got us some of these Salt Water Taffy's. YumYumm.

Day 31 of Summer

Today was good! Went to Book Group, and then swam in our friend's pool, and had nachos. On the way home, my mom went into this children's resale store and ended up getting Ewan this adorable bed. Cuteness!

Day 30 of Summer

Today was okay. Went to tutoring. Not in the best mood right now. The thing about this project is like...I don't want to make it seem like every day is just fabulous. So I'm just gonna say it. I feel crappy right now. Tomorrow shall be better:) <3

Day 29 of Summer

I'm doing this in a somewhat timely fashion today, whoo! Today I went shopping with the family, trying to get ourselves ready for our trip to Ashland on the 26th! It's going to be so much fun. Today I got a new black tank top, which is one of my biggest wardrobe staples. I can't live without it :) Now to eat dinner and attempt reading something for Book Group on Wednesday.

Here is Ewan, watering our makeshift pumpkin patch (They sprung up from last years compost so we decided to plant them, hehe).

Day 28 of Summer

Ugh! I completely spaced on my picture yesterday. I'll try not to let that happen again...I was doing chores for a good part of the morning, then was kind of lazy, then had my Grandma over for dinner, and finally talked on the phone with Sofia for exactly 2 hours when my phone died. She tells me that from her phone bill it looks like we average about 10 hours a month just on the phone...haha. Then I was pretty tired so I went to sleep. I totally meant to take a picture of then yummy dinner my Mom made last night. Luckily Annika took a few pictures yesterday and is letting me use this...some playdough monsters that she and Ewan made yesterday. Yay!

Day 27 of Summer

Yesterday we went to a friend's Game Night, which ended up being mostly swimming. Fine by me! Awesome pool and awesome people.

Day 26 of Summer

Late again, sorry. Lets see...Friday was another great dance at Sofia's. Tortured some of my friends by playing Lady Gaga, danced a lot, ate good food, etc. The next dance is going to be my 16th Birthday Party! Can't wait!

Day 25 of Summer

Went to tutoring today. Fun time with friends. In the present moment I am really regretting this project, because I'm so tired and it's just one more thing I have to remember to do. But I haven't missed a day yet, and I will finish it, and I think I'll be satisfied with it when It's done. Until I do something a little more interesting, here are my rainbow socks. Enjoy.

Day 24 of Summer

Had another headache most of the day, but it was OK. Went to photography club at a friends house, which was followed by badminton and scrabble. Good times!

Day 23 of Summer

Today was alright. Had a headache for part of the day, but It's gone now. Played sims for a while, watched monk, ate this yummy pasta my mom made. Now bed :)

Day 22 of Summer

Yesterday, after waking up to find that the Ouija board was really un-scary in the day time, we went to a barbecue/potluck at a friends house where we ate yumminess, played on the rope swing, and watched part of Fido. Good stuff :P We had to leave early because Ewan was getting cranky, but it was still great.

Here's Sofia in what I labeled her 'cute British chick' outfit. And now, for a few days anyway, I will try to change my focus from this girl who now probably thinks I'm insane...:)

Day 21 of Summer

Sunday I saw Toy Story 3 with friends! It was awesome. Then I slept over at Sofia's house with another friend, Savanna, which was interesting...Activities included rubbing each others legs and having the victim blind folded so they can guess who's rubbing, Youtubing cute British guys, completely freaking out over Sofia's mini Ouija board, and much more. I love these girls ;)

Day 20 of Summer

Oh wow, I'm really behind. But I have been taking pictures! And I only realized after I had taken them all that my subject kind of doesn't change. Sorry Sofia, I'm not stalking you, you just happened to be there every time I whipped my camera out. And you're so darn pretty anyway ;)

Saturday was OMSI Teen night, which was fun. I went with a group of friends, and we hung out in the food court for about half the time, so I don't know how many of us actually go for OMSI it's self or just for the social aspect, but either way it's fun. We discussed our random fears and dislikes, which include moths and goat cheese. Mine is egg whites, which I'm sure every one is sick of hearing by now :)

Day 19 of Summer

Annika got back from camp yesterday! I wasn't feeling very good so I stayed home while my mom went to pick her up. Then she came home and gave me this cool rainbow bracelet, we watched Monk, had breakfast for dinner, and I went to bed. The end :)

Day 18 of Summer

Attempted to clean and rearange my room a bit today. Other that that it was l-a-z-y. I had the hardest time with figuring out what to take a picture of (more like I had the hardest time GETTING OFF MY LAZY BUTT to take one). So you'll have to settle for a blury panorama of my room. I'm so exhausted. It's hot. Ugh.

Day 17 of Summer

Today we went to our friends house and swam in their pool for hours. They have the perfect yard, with a pool, trampoline, and fruit trees. And of course wonderful people!

Day 16 of Summer

Today we went to our friends house where my Mom has a tutoring job. I mainly babysat Ewan, but got to visit a little too, so all is good. I made this flower crown thingy out of some flowers I found in their yard. I like it ;)

Day 15 of Summer

Today we drove Annika out to Diabetes camp. We spent several hours there getting her checked in, but I know she's going to have so much fun. Stupid me didn't take any pictures there, and it was a really cool campsite. So I had another lazy afternoon, watched Persons Unknown, ate hot dogs, and tried to get some pictures outside. On the plus side, we got a glimpse of that gorgeous thing called The Sun today! This week I think July is finally supposed to start feeling like July. About time.

Day 14 of Summer

Well at least I'm taking the pictures, even if the majority of them are posted a day late ;) We had a great Fourth of July, with lots of food and fireworks. I love the firework setting on my camera! I could not stop taking pictures. It was an awesome day.

Day 13 of Summer

Last night was another crazy, fun-filled dance at Sofia's house. This one seemed particularly hyper for some reason. Neighbors were doing fireworks, we were all on a sugar high, and it was a great mix of people. I love my friends!

Here's Sequoia and Sofia carrying Elena...for some reason. When we homeschoolers have party's, it's never just dancing...there are lots of stilts, hula hoops, plastic knife fights, and weird stunts like this :P It's great.

Day 12 of Summer

Slept over at Sofia's house last night as I mentioned. It was a lot of fun. We watched Rocky Horror Picture Show this morning (My first time seeing the full film!), and then walked around Hawthorne a bit, shopped and then got waffles at the Blue Door Waffle Window. Love that place!

Day 11 of Summer

Another late one, sorries! Yesterday was the most fun I've had in quite a while. Went to the beach with friends, flew kites, froze my butt off, explored, admired the ocean, collected shells, picnicked, had hot cocoa, went to lunch/dinner, and then slept over at Sofia's house. Fun, fun day. Here's one of my favorite things we found, a big starfish.
