Day 42 of Summer

Sunday was great! Our friends came up to visit us on the way back from a separate vacation of theirs. It worked out perfectly. We swam a lot, and then Sofia taught me how to canoe, which I absolutely loved! We rowed all over the lake and had a lot of fun. Then we came back and had dinner, and when it was dark we walked back down to the doc to see the stars. Absolutely amazing. I don't remember ever seeing the sky like this before, and it was awesome. It was so dark and we could see SO many stars, including some shooting ones. I wish my Camera was high-tech enough to have captured that, but alas. It was a wonderful day.

Day 41 of Summer

A lot of Saturday was spent at the lake, and some of it lounging around the Cabin. A friend of ours came up to visit us which was fun. Here's me posing in my new swimsuit...hehe.

Day 40 of Summer

Friday was another day in town. Took my Grandma Kate out to lunch for her Birthday, which was yummy and fun. Then went shopping for a new swimsuit, after having two previous swimsuit disasters. I got a really cute one at TJ Maxx. Here's the pretty garden of the place we went for lunch.

Day 39 of Summer

Thursday was spent at the lake again, very relaxing and fun. Here's a panorama of the lake, which was taken by either me or my mom. We were both playing around with it so I don't remember.

Day 38 of Summer

Wednesday was my parents Anniversary, which we spent in downtown Ashland where we walked around, got ice cream, shopped, played in the creek at the park, and then had dinner at Red Lobster. It was awesome.

Day 37 of Summer

Tuesday we had family come out to our cabin, had a nice barbecue/potluck, and then went down to the lake that evening. It was starting to rain, so we debating going back to the cabin but my dad thought it wouldn't last long, so we waited it out in the car. There was thunder and massive hail that was awesome but only lasted about 5 minutes. After wards we got out and went swimming, and there was this amazing fog/mist all over the lake. Very cool!

Day 36 of Summer

On Monday I woke up early (for me, around 6) and went down to the lake with my Dad before anyone else was up. The sky and water were so clear and still, it was awesome. Then we came back and had pancakes, and then went swimming with the rest of the family. It was great!

Day 35 of Summer

Okay, time to stop slacking. Here you go, starting with Sunday, a weeks worth of vacation pics.



Sunday was spent driving, driving, shopping, visiting family, driving, driving, and then sleeping. Here's a picture I got of the sunset while my Mom was in Shop-N-Cart. For some reason that was always one of my favorite things to see when I was little and we lived there--The sun set near Shop-N-Cart. Haha, weird, but there you go.

Day 34 of Summer

Another packing-frenzy day!! We leave tomorrow for our Ashland/Lake trip, which is going to be so much fun! I will be taking lots of pictures, but won't have internet access for a week or so, so I'll update the blog when I get back.

Whew, lots of shopping and more getting ready for the trip today. We stopped in at Trader Joe's and my Mom got us some of these Salt Water Taffy's. YumYumm.

Day 31 of Summer

Today was good! Went to Book Group, and then swam in our friend's pool, and had nachos. On the way home, my mom went into this children's resale store and ended up getting Ewan this adorable bed. Cuteness!

Day 30 of Summer

Today was okay. Went to tutoring. Not in the best mood right now. The thing about this project is like...I don't want to make it seem like every day is just fabulous. So I'm just gonna say it. I feel crappy right now. Tomorrow shall be better:) <3

Day 29 of Summer

I'm doing this in a somewhat timely fashion today, whoo! Today I went shopping with the family, trying to get ourselves ready for our trip to Ashland on the 26th! It's going to be so much fun. Today I got a new black tank top, which is one of my biggest wardrobe staples. I can't live without it :) Now to eat dinner and attempt reading something for Book Group on Wednesday.

Here is Ewan, watering our makeshift pumpkin patch (They sprung up from last years compost so we decided to plant them, hehe).

Day 28 of Summer

Ugh! I completely spaced on my picture yesterday. I'll try not to let that happen again...I was doing chores for a good part of the morning, then was kind of lazy, then had my Grandma over for dinner, and finally talked on the phone with Sofia for exactly 2 hours when my phone died. She tells me that from her phone bill it looks like we average about 10 hours a month just on the phone...haha. Then I was pretty tired so I went to sleep. I totally meant to take a picture of then yummy dinner my Mom made last night. Luckily Annika took a few pictures yesterday and is letting me use this...some playdough monsters that she and Ewan made yesterday. Yay!

Day 27 of Summer

Yesterday we went to a friend's Game Night, which ended up being mostly swimming. Fine by me! Awesome pool and awesome people.

Day 26 of Summer

Late again, sorry. Lets see...Friday was another great dance at Sofia's. Tortured some of my friends by playing Lady Gaga, danced a lot, ate good food, etc. The next dance is going to be my 16th Birthday Party! Can't wait!

Day 25 of Summer

Went to tutoring today. Fun time with friends. In the present moment I am really regretting this project, because I'm so tired and it's just one more thing I have to remember to do. But I haven't missed a day yet, and I will finish it, and I think I'll be satisfied with it when It's done. Until I do something a little more interesting, here are my rainbow socks. Enjoy.

Day 24 of Summer

Had another headache most of the day, but it was OK. Went to photography club at a friends house, which was followed by badminton and scrabble. Good times!

Day 23 of Summer

Today was alright. Had a headache for part of the day, but It's gone now. Played sims for a while, watched monk, ate this yummy pasta my mom made. Now bed :)
