Day 10 of Summer

Considering that I stayed up with friends until the sun was coming up last night, today was pretty good. Hung out with friends in the morning, then brought them home and went shopping with the family. Went to a cool farmers market and got some stuff...Cherries, mmmm...

Day 9 of Summer

I saw Eclipse last night! I think it was my favorite out of the three movies so far. Definitely better than the last one. It was really true to the book and just an overall great movie! I love all the crazy fan energy of seeing a midnight showing, too. Amazing.

Day 8 of Summer

Today was lazy...but I really needed that, I think. We had beautiful weather, and it wasn't unbearably hot, so I sat outside and read and listened to music for quite a while. My ipod keeps me sane. Pretty soon I'm going to watch Persons Unknown with the family, eat dinner and try to get a good nights sleep for seeing Eclipse tomorrow at midnight(!). I know my guy friends are cringing...but it's gonna be so much fuuuun.

Day 7 of Summer

Today was kind of a really long continuation from yesterday. We had friend sleepover last night, so it all kind of seems like one big never ending day. It was fun. Had friends here all day, had a water fight, watched A Very Potter Musical on youtube (second time watching the full thing for me...It was fun sharing it with my friends). Then went over to their house for dinner, which is always fun.

I know, another bubble pic...bubbles are so much fun. He's Rowan blowing some out on their deck :)

Day 6 of Summer.

I know it's a day late but I had no time to upload anything yesterday. Last night we went to an awesome dance party hosted by my friend Sofia. It was great! Thank you Sofia!

It's so hard trying to find a picture that really captures the mood of stuff like this...stationary pics of just one person don't really work. But I didn't take a lot of pictures as I was having too much fun...so I did my best, and since I'm all about the pictures with awkward expressions and such, and I really love our black dresses together...here you go :)

Day 5 of Summer

Today was about as fun as yesterday. Slept until about 11, facebooked, read, blah blah. Then went to a pizza party for the end of Annika's basketball season. That was pretty fun. Came home and went "eeehhh what do I take a picture of??". It's proving to be quite chalenging on these days where we don't really do much. Luckily there are a few fun things coming up (Dance party tomorrow, Eclipse on the 30th!! Whoo!).

Anyway, Annika and I decided to put on our polka-doted swimsuits and take pictures :P

Day 4 of Summer

Today was completely lazy. I slept pretty late, finished Fanboy and Goth Girl (Great book, weird ending), Talked to Sofia on the phone for a bit. Nothing exciting. Then this evening I went outside and painted a bit (It's not finished, but hopefully I'll like it enough to upload it when it's done. And hopefully my days and pictures will get more interesting soon!

Day 3 of summer

Today was awesome. Had friends over, walked to the cafe to get soda, then to the park, then home, had a giant water fight, then sat around until a few people left. Then we decided to go on another walk to the park. Stayed there for a while and then came home. On the way back from the park to my house the second time, we decided it would be a good idea to all squeeze into my friend Sofia's giant hula hoop and walk like that all the way home. We did it, and got many looks and waves and were very uncomfortable. It was fabulous :D

Day 2 of Summer

Today was pretty decent. Annika, Ewan and I mixed up a huge vat of bubbles and then experimented with different cooking utensils to see what made the best bubbles. I think Annika and I had more fun with it than Ewan did. Other than that, I didn't do much. Played Sims, did chores, read. I'm reading The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl right now. It's awesome :D

Day 1 of Summer

Last night we celebrated the Summer solstice with our friends out on their farm...It was a lot of fun :) I love, love, love fire and taking pictures of it, so here is our bon fire (and my friend Truman trying to keep it going).

Oh, and...welcome to my newest crazy project. The idea is that I will take one picture for every day this Summer, and post it here. I'm not sure how interesting or exciting it will be to my friends, but if nothing else it will be something I can look back on and remember what I did every single day for 90 or so days. I've been thinking a lot about memories and how they work, how you remember everything about certain days and absolutely nothing about others. And since we seem to have such short summers here, and it's my favorite season, I thought this would be fun. Enjoy!
