Day 1 of Autumn/My Last Post

Wednesday was a lot of fun. Spent the Fall Equinox with some of my favorite people, sitting around the fire, goofing off at the park, listening to guitar, eating yummy food. I'm sad that this project is over, but also a little relieved, and definitely excited for fall. Thank you so much to everyone who has read this blog. I have a Blog class at Village now, so I may start posting more on other blogs. I will let you know :) Goodbye, Summer 2010, you were quite awesome. <3

Since I started this blog with a picture of a fire on the Summer Solstice, I thought it would be cool to end it with one. So here you go :)

Day 93 of Summer

Today is officially the last day of Summer. However, I am planning to post one more picture tomorrow, since I don't think it technically becomes Fall until 8ish? Anyway, we're having a Solstice party tomorrow night, with a fire. So I thought it would be nice to end the project with that.

Today was a cleaning day, getting ready for tomorrow. Still a pretty good day.

Day 92 of Summer

Yesterday was good. A little boring, but decent. Here is a kind of weird picture of my little Buddha statue.

Day 91 of Summer

Um, OK. Time to explain. Yesterday was pretty good, we went to my Grandma's and hung our for a while and then had dinner with her. I was feeling a lot better, but still cooped up and bored out of my mind, so when we got home Annika and I did this "Barbie" Photo Shoot. Where I dressed up like a creepy doll. Ah, the things we do are so weird sometimes.

Day 90 of Summer

Saturday I was really depressed because I was still sick, and I had to miss the Portland Pirate Festival, which I had been planning to go to for weeks. Just my luck. So I read, watched TV, and made more duct tape Barbie clothes, as seen above.

Day 89 of Summer

Friday I got sick. Sickness really sucks. It was just a minor cold, but I was really bored. So, I whipped out my duct tape and started making Barbie clothes with it. Yay for creativeness!!
And my Mom made this delicious Pot Roast, and we had my grandma over for dinner. That made me feel better :)

Day 88 of Summer

I should start a blog called "Me with random objects because I couldn't think of anything else to take a picture of."

Thursday was my first day of classes at Village (homeschool learning center). I love my Banned Books class. I also have a Blog class, and a Science class which doesn't start meeting until next Thursday. Sofia and I have all our classes together, so that's fun.

Anyway, here's me with my adorable stuffed panda.

Day 87 of Summer

Wednesday was Book Group. For which I did not read this book. I read the poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, as the theme was Poetry. The poem was confusing and long, but once I read the Wikipedia summary I understood it a bit better :P This book is my book for my Banned Books class, which you will read about in the next post. It's The Bell Jar my Sylvia Plath.

Day 86 of Summer

Tuesday we played an awesome game of capture the flag with friends at the park. I was sore after D: But it was really fun. Then Sofia and I opted out of the second game, and took pictures by the trees.

Day 85 of Summer

Ok, I'm really behind again, but this will be my last major posting-spree. So bear with me.

Monday, we had our lovely friend Elowen over. Her and Annika played, and I lounged around. That's all I really remember, except for the fact that my Mom made a really yummy dinner, and Elowen took lots of pictures of us.

Day 84 of Summer

Yesterday was pretty good. Annika and I did a photo shoot in our backyard :)

Day 83 of Summer

Saturday we went thrift shopping all day as part of my Mom's late birthday celebration, and I found some Doc Martens! I've been looking for some used Doc's forever, and I found these gorgeous one's for 19.99. Love!

Day 82 of Summer

Friday was my Mom's 39th Birthday. Annika and I made her breakfast, then we hung out and watched movies all afternoon, and then went to my Grandma's for dinner and cake. Fun fun.

Day 81 of Summer

After Wednesday's adventure, I slept over at Sofia's house with some other friends. We had a lovely campfire and stayed up until passed 3. The next morning we had a great breakfast and sat around the fire some more, then I went home and vegged out. After staying up that late, the only thing I can do is read cheesy books, watch movies, and eat chocolate almonds. So...I didn't take a picture. Because I was...you guessed it...lazy.

Day 80 of Summer

On Wednesday, I walked around town with friends. It was fun, but the particular street we picked wasn't as fun as I thought it would be. The one vintage shop we went in was the stuffy over priced kind, rather than the 10 dollar, funky, hippy kind I love :) We did, however, get some excellent french onion soup, and there was some cool scenery.

Day 79 of Summer

Why do I let myself get so behind?! Ah...

Tuesday I played Battle Ship with Annika. That's all I remember D:

Day 78 of Summer

Yesterday we went to the same thrift store with the $1 sale. I didn't find anything this time, but it was still pretty fun. Then we went out to lunch and I got this enormous burrito!

Day 77 of Summer

Lets see...On Sunday I went shopping with my family, and we stumbled upon a store having a huge one-dollar clothing sale. I got a few things, and then Sofia and her family met us there and we went to a Coffee shop and hung out for a while. Twas a great day!

Day 76 of Summer

Last night was another dance party. A small one this time, but still fun. I love my friends :D

Saturday, September 4, 2010

Day 75 of Summer

Yesterday I went shopping at Goodwill, and got Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire in hardback, which was the last one I needed. After YEARS, my collection is complete :D

Friday, September 3, 2010

Day 74 of Summer

Yesterday I went swimming with friends and then had a sleepover. Activities including naming every lifeguard, getting in a war with some little kids, and finding even MORE uses for apples to apples cards, like throwing them at each other and making a huge mess, or pulling a certain number of cards which we then had to make a sentence with. At least the latter is somewhat educational? :)

Day 73 of Summer

Wednesday was lazy. Mmmhmm. I read cheesy teen novels that are getting more addictive by the page, and had some Stake for dinner which I had been wanting for daaaays. That's all I remember ;)

Here's my handsome little brother.

Day 72 of Summer

Yesterday we were going to park day with some friends, but it was raining so we went to Sofia's for a few hours. I have mixed feelings about the rain coming, but hanging out with friends makes everything better :)

Day 71 of Summer

I am tired, and lazy, and having the emotional equivalent of a bad head cold, but I did manage to paint something that I really like. It's not done yet, but here's a preview.

Day 70 of Summer

Yesterday I was still quite tired from the three sleepovers in a row. The highlight of my day was going to starbucks with the family, and then finding a really cute dress for 3.49 (half off) at good will. I love shopping!!

Day 69 of Summer

Saturday, I had a THIRD sleepover in a row, with some friends in tents in one of their backyards. It was super fun, of course, but I was reeeally tired after wards.

As you probably noticed, I spaced on a picture AGAIN. This project has been hard lately...maybe I'll try something after this is over, with just blogging and no pictures. Then I might have more energy for longer, more thoughtful, expressive (aka whiny) blog posts.

Day 68 of Summer

Friday I slept over at Sofia's, and we did...guess what?! DIVINING! I won't go into it, but we made this weird protection pattern out of chalk, and lit candles, and were generally creepy. She also made me a delicious dinner and desert, which was amazing.

Day 67 of Summer

Thursday morning, more Divining. Truman made me this awesome spin-y thing to put my oracle cards on. We're so weird.

Day 66 of Summer

I'm SO behind!

Wednesday was our hangout day, which was awesome as always. We walked to the park in my giant hula hoop again. I really don't know why we do it. It's really uncomfortable, but it's strangely fun, and everyone does it for some reason.
Then I slept over at Truman's house, where stayed up until 1ish "divining" with every method we could think of. Oujia board, tarot, apples to apples, pendulum, paper fortune tellers, drawing names out of hats, etc. Fun fun.

Day 65 of Summer

Cleaning day. Not bad, but not extremely exciting. Yeah...

But here is the wheel of my gorgeous new pink bike! I can't wait to ride it, but I've been having pedal issues so we're ordering a new one.

Day 64 of Summer

Yesterday was awesome. We went to a place called Biscuits Cafe for breakfast, which was really good. Then we drove to Mt. St. Helen's, and walked around a bit. We didn't get home until about 10. Fun fun!

Day 63 of Summer

Today was alright. Wasn't it the greatest mood. Went to the mall with Sofia for a little while this afternoon, so that was fun.

Day 62 of Summer

Yesterday was pretty good. Went to the park in the morning with Annika and Truman, hula hooped, mary-go-round-ed, and other such things. Then in the evening I went to a different park and had a picnic with my Mom and siblings. Sushi was had, so life was good.

Day 61 of Summer

Friday was my 16th Birthday. I had so much fun shopping on Hawthorne with people I love and yummy food and awesome clothes and shops and everything. Then I came home, had delicious dinner and cake, and opened presents. It was a fabulous day :)

Day 60 of Summer

Time to get caught up. Ehhhhhh. I don't really remember what I did on Thursday, other than I DID take a picture!! I made this little card with Green Day lyrics on it out of boredom, and then thought "Oh hey, picture!" and took this :)

Day 59 of Summer

Umm, hey guys. Sorry about this, but I completely spaced on taking my picture yesterday. I thought about it, and I kept reminding myself to do it, and then probably around 3 am last night I woke up and thought "Ahhh I didn't take a picture!!"

Just to have SOMETHING to upload, here is a picture that Ewan actually took of himself, with Annika's camera. He did a pretty good job!

Day 58 of Summer

On Tuesday I cleaned my room, including under my bed which I haven't done in a very, very long time. My Mom helped with a lot of it ;) So even though I'm behind in the blog, I have been productive.

Monday, August 16, 2010

Day 57 of Summer

Earlier we went to the park and let Ewan play in the small water park, and Annika and I played with my new, awesome, HUGE hula hoop (Thank you Amanda!!).

Day 56 of Summer

Sofia slept over after my party as a random spur of the moment thing, so the next morning we made pancakes and then she went home, and I spent the day being lazy and enjoying my presents :)

Sunday, August 15, 2010

Day 55 of Summer

Yesterday was my 16th Birthday party (my birthday is on the 20th), and it was absolutely amazing. I am so lucky to have so many amazing friends!! Thank you to everyone who was there, I had a blast.

Day 54 of Summer

Shopping and getting ready for the party today. Found this little lady bug hiding on my Mom's Orchid plant.

Day 53 of Summer

Yesterday was good. Went to my Grandma's in the afternoon while my Mom and Ewan were at a doctors appointment, then went to shopping and got a dress to wear to my 16th birthday party on Saturday!! I am so excited :D I wanted to take a better picture, but got lazy, so he's a weird one of me trying to contort my whole body into one shot.

Day 52 of Summer

Wednesday was photography club at a Botanical Garden in Portland. It was fun and purty :)

Day 51 of Summer

I am behind :/

Tuesday was good, went to the park and hung out with friends. Tire swings, picking locks, and being our crazy selves = awesome.
Then Sofia slept over and we made brownies (Well, she did all the work), watched part of West Side Story, made paper fortune tellers, danced, and generally had fun.

Day 50 of Summer

Are we seriously on say 50?? Wow.

Today was (you guessed it) lazy. Talked to friends on the phone and facebook. Isn't it great to live in a time when we're so connected with our friends, no matter if we're sitting in our pajamas at home or whatever??

Here's a picture of my conversation with Ashley, which if you can't tell reads :

Ash: Whats up?

Me: Not much lol

Me: Don't know what the heck to take a picture of today

Ash: Your computer. And be like "Today I computed"

Me: LOL I was actually considering doing that

She proceeded to dare me to do it, so here we are. Whoo, I don't have to actually come up with anything creative today! (Sorry guys, tomorrow will hopefully be better).

Day 49 of Summer

Yesterday was good but lazy. We went to Burgerville in the afternoon with my grandma and got Milkshakes. Yummy goodness!

Sunday, August 8, 2010

day 48 of Summer

Yesterday was good! We went driving up near Mt. St. Helens and explored a few different lake/reservoir areas. Fun fun.

Friday, August 6, 2010

Day 47 of Summer

Today wasn't very eventful. The most exciting thing I could think of to take a picture of was our street...

Day 46 of Summer

Yesterday was good. Lazy morning and afternoon, then went for a drive downtown with my Mom and got Burgerville for dinner. Then came home and watched Remember Me and ate popcorn.

I love taking pictures downtown Portland! I just wish I had more opportunities to take them while walking instead of driving :/

Day 45 of Summer

Today was utterly lazy. I seem to have the hardest time recovering from vacations or sleep loss or any kind of activity what so ever -.-

Day 44 of Summer

Yesterday was a recovery day. I caught up on facebook and what my friends are up to, talked to Sofia for a while, slept. I've been re-reading Deathly Hallows, as I want to be ready for the movie in November. The 7th book is the only one that I haven't read cover to cover since it came out. I don't really know why. I guess when the others came out, I would read them over and over, trying to not only fill the gaps between books but also to pick up on clues and develop theories. After DH I didn't need to do that anymore. But it's nice to be reading it again. It reminds me that with all the reading I do, no matter how much I like a book, I have never felt as connected to a story or a set of characters as I do/did with Harry Potter. I love it.

*nerd rant over*

Day 43 of Summer

Had a nice morning on Monday, and then drove and drove and drove, and was so exhausted that night. Good times.
